ABOUT SARAH PASCHALL
Paschall Design | Shore Interior Design

For more than two decades, Sarah Paschall has created soulful, architecturally elevated homes for discerning clients in Southern California, Wisconsin, and select luxury destinations nationwide. Her work is defined by an intuitive understanding of flow, an obsession with space planning, and a deep belief that a home should be felt—even more than it is seen.

Sarah’s path began inside two of the region’s most respected studios: David Robinson Design in La Jolla, known for award-winning hospitality environments, and McCulley Design in Solana Beach, where she expanded her foundation in interior architecture, brand experience, and high-design problem solving. These early years trained her in the kind of elevated thinking, precision, and storytelling that continue to shape her work today.

We have been featured in Modern Luxury's California Faces of Design Magazine, Luxe Magazine, and Coastal Homes.

A Studio Born From Vision | The Paschall Design Era

In 2001, Sarah launched Paschall Design, complete with a boutique storefront that showcased her curated furnishings, custom pieces, and modern coastal-meets-contemporary style. The studio quickly attracted estate owners, developers, and clientele seeking a heightened level of sophistication.
Her residential portfolio grew to include whole-home transformations, architectural renovations, and large-scale estates, including a signature Rancho Santa Fe project for a member of the Qualcomm Jacobs family—a commission that positioned her firmly within the world of ultra-high-end residential design.
Sarah’s Superpower: Rewriting the Flow of a Home
While most designers focus on finishes and furnishings, Sarah’s genius starts long before the paint colors. Her true sweet spot is space planning and interior architecture—the crucial stage where the life of a home is defined.
Sarah’s Superpower: Rewriting the Flow of a Home
While most designers focus on finishes and furnishings, Sarah’s genius starts long before the paint colors. Her true sweet spot is space planning and interior architecture—the crucial stage where the life of a home is defined.
She specializes in fixing the flow, reshaping architectural plans to create spaces that are intuitive, dramatic, and emotionally effortless. Sightlines, circulation paths, volume, symmetry, and energy—Sarah sees the internal logic of a home instantly and redesigns it to its highest potential.
Unlike firms that take on cumbersome permit drawings, Sarah’s role is purely visionary. Her talent lies in collaborating with architects and builders early enough to create moments of “WOW” that cannot be added after permits are finalized.
